Journalists and media makers interested in intersectionality and gender justice:

Our eighth annual WAM!NYC conference on June 17, 2017 at Barnard College on the Upper West Side is a full day of panels and conversing with like minded journalists, activists and creative thinkers working in various crevices of social justice issues. As the term “fake news” infects the country’s vernacular, our aim is to reassure people that cold, hard facts are as important as ever. Our main questions: What, as strong and independent media makers, can we learn from each other? And how can we collaborate as we move forward?
